Prepared to Litigate
In family law, litigation should be avoided. After all, you don’t want to make a mountain out of a mole hill. But some things are worth fighting for.
And that’s exactly why I am prepared to litigate. Many family law attorneys have never taken a case to trial, and if they have, they are scared to do so again. If necessary, I will take your case to trial.
Ready to Settle
When you have an attorney that is prepared to litigate, you are better situated to settle. If you are in a heated divorce battle involving child custody or high net worth division of assets, the other attorney will try to low-ball you if your position is weakened by an attorney who cannot litigate your case.
I’m also a divorce mediator in Illinois serving Chicago and the counties of Cook, DuPage, Lake, and Will. As an experienced family law attorney, I can facilitate agreement between divorcing spouses by cutting through the clutter and utilizing creativity.
